Day 01: Arrive Delhi On arrival a warm welcome by our representatives
at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi After breakfast, enjoy a full day guided sightseeing tour
of old and new Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, Birla Mandir, India Gate,
President House and Lotus temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi / Bhubaneshwar After breakfast, transfer to Airport to
board flight to Bhubaneshwar. On arrival, assistance and transfer to hotel.
In the afternoon proceed for a city tour of Bhubaneshwar and visit the Jain
caves located on the Khandagiri and Udaygiri hills. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Bhubaneshwar / Baliguda Morning drive to Baliguda. En route,
visit the village Itamati. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at
the hotel.
Day 05:Baliguda / Kotagarh / Rayagada Morning drive to Rayagada. En route,
visit tribal villages such as Kuttiya Kondha nearby Kotagarh and discovery of
the tribe Kutia Kondh. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 06: Rayagada / Chaitkona / Jeypore After breakfast, walk until the
village Dongria Kondh, one of the most primitive village of the region and located
in the hills Nivangiri. Discover their lifestyle. Women and men come down daily
from the top of the hill, carrying baskets of fruits and vegetables which they
sell on the market. Visit the market Chatikona. Upon arrival to Jeypore, check-in
at hotel.Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Jeypore After breakfast, visit the home of the approximately
6000 members of the fierce Bondas (naked people). The Bondas tribe is living
in remote place in the hills and cultivate rice. The Bondas women are noticeable
by bead necklaces, striking brass and silver necklets and their shaved heads
decorated with plaits of Palmyra leaves. In the afternoon, drive back to Jaypore.
En route, visit the pottery village Lamptaput inhabited by the tribes Bapaniguda,
Siriguda et Paraja.Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Jeypore Morning visit the market for the tribes Sanaparoja and
Mali located in Kunduli. Drive to Nandapur and visit the homes of tribe Sanaparoja.
Back to Jeypore. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Jeypore After breakfast, walk to the villages Boro Gadaba and
assist to the dance show Dhemsa. Then drive to the market Lamtaput. Back to
Jeypore. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Jeypore After breakfast, drive to village of the tribes Desia
Kondh and Paraja. Visit the temple Jagannath and the tribal museum in Koraput.
Back to Jeypore. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Jeypore Day is free for independent activities. Overnight stay
at the hotel.(The order of the market visits might be changed according to which
days of the week you'll be in Jeypore)
Day 12: Jeypore / Taptapani After breakfast, drive to Taptapani, peaceful
town on the top of a hill with a hot spring that the local inhabitants use on
a mark of blessing. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 13:Taptapani / Puri After breakfast, drive to Puri and check-in at
hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14: Puri After breakfast, city tour of Puri. Visit Jagannath temple,
the Garden house, Gundicha Mandir. Rest of the day free for independent activities.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
