Day 01: Arrive Delhi On arrival a warm welcome by our representatives
at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight sta
y at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi After breakfast, enjoy a full day guided sightseeing tour
of old and new Delhi. Visit Red Fort built by the great Mughal Emperor Shah
Jehan when he shifted his capital from Agra. A short drive brings us to the
Great Mosque - the Jama Masjid. Drive on to see the memorial built for Mahatma
Gandhi at Rajghat. Also visit Qutub Minar - the tallest stone tower in India,
Chhatarpur Temple - the most popular Hindu temple with blissful tranquility
and serene ambience. Continue to Humayun's Tomb believed to have been designed
by his widow. Its plan is based on the description of Islamic paradise gardens
and is known to have inspired the Taj Mahal and many later Mughal tombs. Also
visit the Bahai Temple - a lotus shaped structure. It is made of marble, cement,
dolomite and sand. It is open to all faiths and is an ideal place for meditation
and obtaining peace and tranquility, Birla Mandir, India Gate and President
House. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi / Shimla After breakfast, drive to Shimla and on arrival,
check-in at hotel. Afternoon free to take a stroll on the famous Mall. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Shimla After breakfast, full day sightseeing of Shimla. Visit
Wild Flower Hall, Kufri, Indira Holiday Home, Fagu and Mashobra. Overnight stay
at the hotel.
Day 05: Shimal / Kulu / Manali After breakfast, morning drive to Manali
- another popular hill resort that offers spectacular views of the snow capped
peaks and wooded slopes. Visit the charming Kullu Valley en route. Evening free
to relax and unwind.Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Manali Morning visit Hadimba Temple, Vasistha Hot Water Springs,
Club House, Tibetan Monastery. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Manali / Jispa After breakfast, drive to Jispa via Rohtang Pass
and Keylong and on arrival camp at a good spot in Jispa. Overnight stay in the
camp.
Day 08: Jispa / Sarchu After breakfast, drive to Sarchu and on arrival
camp at a good site. Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 09: Sarchu / Leh After breakfast, drive to Leh and on arrival, check-in
at hotel. Afternoon free to relax and unwind. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Leh After breakfast, visit the Leh Palace - the battle scarred
and deserted 16th century ruins of the royal residence built by Singge Namgyal,
Shankar Gompa & Leh Mosque. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Leh After breakfast, full day excursion to visit Shey, Thikse
and Hemis monasteries. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12: Leh / Delhi After breakfast, transfer to airport and connect
the flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, assistance at the airport and transfer to
hotel. Rest of the day free for independent activities. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 13: Delhi / Depart After breakfast, full day free for your independent
activities. Do your last minute shopping. In the evening, transfer to airport
in time to connect the flight for onward destination.
