Day 01: Arrive Delhi On arrival a warm welcome by our representatives
at airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay a
t the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi After breakfast, enjoy a full day guided sightseeing tour
of old and new Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, Birla Mandir, India Gate,
President House and Lotus temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi / Varanasi After breakfast, day is free at leisure. In
the evening, transfer to railway station to board train to Varanasi.Overnight
on board.
Day 04: Varanasi / Sarnath / Varanasi Early morning, arrive at Varanasi.
Assistance at the railway station and transfer to hotel.After breakfast, early
morning boat excursion on the holy river Ganges to see the bathing ghats and
cremation site. Watching people bathing and worship-ping at the ghats is one
of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India. Later visit the Bharat
Mata Temple, Durga temple, Tulsi Manas mandir, Banaras Hindu University which
has an art gallery. Afternoon visit Sarnath - here lord Buddha preached his
five disciples.Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Varanasi / Bodhgaya After breakfast, drive to Bodhgaya and check-in
at hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Bodhgaya After breakfast, half day city tour of Bodhgaya and
its temples. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Bodhgaya / Rajgir / Nalanda / Patna Morning drive to Patna en
route visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple and the Japanese Shanti Stupa at Rajgir.
Then, stop at Nalanda and visit the Great Stupa.Upon arrival at Patna, check-in
at hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08: Patna / Vaishali / Kushinagar After breakfast, half day city
tour of Patna visiting Patna Sahib and Museum. Then drive to Kushinagar en route
visit Vaishali where Buddha preached his last sermon. On arrival, check-in at
hotel. Later visit Kushinagar. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Kushinagar / Lumbini After breakfast, drive to Lumbini in Nepal,
Buddha's birthplace. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 10: Lumbini / Sravasti After breakfast, drive to Sravasti, former
capital of Kosala Kingdom and check-in at hotel. Rest of the day for independent
activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Sravasti / Lucknow / Bhopal After breakfast, drive to Lucknow
and transfer to the railway station board train to Bhopal. Overnight on board.
Day 12: Bhopal / Sanchi / Bhopal Arrival at Bhopal and transfer to hotel.
After breakfast, excursion to Sanchi to visit the Great Stupa and Toranas. Rest
of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 13: Bhopal / Agra After breakfast, day free for independent activities.
In the evening, transfer to railway station to board train to Agra. Overnight
on board.
Day 14: Agra / Delhi In the early morning, arrive at Agra. Visit the
Red Fort of Agra and one of the seven Wonders in the world, the Taj Mahal. Taj
Mahal is the eternal symbol of India, built in white marble by the Mughal Emperor
Shahjahan for his Empress Mumtaz Mahal. A total of 20,000 workmen worked for
22 years to complete it. In the afternoon, drive to Delhi. Upon arrival, check-in
at hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 15: Delhi / Depart After breakfast, day free at leisure. In the evening,
transfer to airport to connect the flight for onward destination.
