Day 01: Arrive Delhi On arrival a warm welcome by our representatives at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, enjoy a full day guided sightseeing tour of old and new Delhi. Visit Red Fort built by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan when he shifted his capital from Agra. A short drive brings us to the Great Mosque - the Jama Masjid. Drive on to see the memorial built for Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. Also visit Qutub Minar - the tallest stone tower in India, Chhatarpur Temple - the most popular Hindu temple with blissful tranquility and serene ambience. Continue to Humayun's Tomb believed to have been designed by his widow. Its plan is based on the description of Islamic paradise gardens and is known to have inspired the Taj Mahal and many later Mughal tombs. Also visit the Bahai Temple - a lotus shaped structure. It is made of marble, cement, dolomite and sand. It is open to all faiths and is an ideal place for meditation and obtaining peace and tranquility, Birla Mandir, India Gate and President House. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi / Agra
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Agra. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Later in the afternoon visit the Red Fort and one of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is the eternal symbol of India, built in white marble by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan for his Empress Mumtaz Mahal. A total of 20,000 workmen worked for 22 years to complete this magnificent monument. After the sightseeing return back to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 04: Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Jaipur
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur en route, visiting the "abandoned city" of Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free for independent activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur
Jaipur is also known as the Pink city as the buildings have a pink tint. It is an unselfconsciously medieval city with stately Palaces, colourful bazaars (market) and Forts brooding over the city. Graceful women in swirling skirts and veils of red, orange, and magenta, laden with silver jewellery, straight tall men in Turbans and lurching carts drawn by camels, do nothing to dispel the illusion. After breakfast, excursion to Amber fort. Enjoy elephant ride over there. Afternoon city tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace museum, Observatory and Palace of Winds. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur / Delhi
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free for shopping and independent activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Delhi
Depart After breakfast, day free for independent activities. In the evening transfer to airport to connect the flight for onward destination.
