Day 01: Arrive Delhi On arrival a warm welcome by our representatives
at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay
at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi After breakfast, enjoy a full day guided sightseeing tour
of old and new Delhi. Visit Red Fort built by the great Mughal Emperor Shah
Jehan when he shifted his capital from Agra. A short drive brings us to the
Great Mosque - the Jama Masjid. Drive on to see the memorial built for Mahatma
Gandhi at Rajghat. Also visit Qutub Minar - the tallest stone tower in India,
Chhatarpur Temple - the most popular Hindu temple with blissful tranquility
and serene ambience. Continue to Humayun's Tomb believed to have been designed
by his widow. Its plan is based on the description of Islamic paradise gardens
and is known to have inspired the Taj Mahal and many later Mughal tombs. Also
visit the Bahai Temple - a lotus shaped structure. It is made of marble, cement,
dolomite and sand. It is open to all faiths and is an ideal place for meditation
and obtaining peace and tranquility, Birla Mandir, India Gate and President
House. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi / Raipur / Kawardha After breakfast, transfer to airport
to connect the flight to Raipur. Upon arrival, assistance at the airport and
drive to Kawardha. Check-in at the palace of Kawardha, a heritage hotel ran
by the Maharaja of Kawardha.Rest of the day free for independent activities.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Kawardha After breakfast, visit the tribe Baiga living in the
neighborhoods in the forest. After lunch with the Baigas, visit the temple of
Bhoramdev, also known as the " Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh ". Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Kawardha / Raipur / Kanker After breakfast, drive to Kanker via
Raipur and check-in at the palace of the royak family of Kanker. Enjoy a traditional
dance and music show. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Kanker / Kondagaon / Narayanpur / Kanker After breakfast, guided
walk until the Keshkal ghat. Visit Kondagaon and Narayanpur where other tribes
are living. Lunch in the forest Sal. Evening enjoy traditional dance and music
show led by young Gonds people. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Kanker / Jagdalpur After breakfast, drive to Jagdalpur. Upon
arrival, check-in at hotel. In the afternoon, city tour of Jagdalpur and its
anthropologic museum. Then, drive to the Chitrakote waterfalls. Meet with the
Bison Horn Maria tribe. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Jagdalpur / Kangar valley NP / Jagdalpur After breakfast, excursion
to Kangar valley National Park. Visit Tirathgarh waterfalls and the caves. Lunch
on the Myna hill where some tribes are living. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09: Jagdalpur / Raipur After breakfast, visit the lively market of
Jagdalpur. Then drive back to Raipur and check-in at hotel. Rest of the day
free for relaxing. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Raipur / Delhi After breakfast, transfer to Airport to connect
the flight to Delhi.
